Corporate Communications: Audio for Exhibitions and Trade Shows

Do you want to stand out from the crowd at your next exhibition, trade show, convention or conference? Do you want to make some noise about your company?

Audio can give your static display an attention-grabbing edge and deliver your business message consistently, even when your staff have stepped away from the stand or are busy with other prospects.

What We Can Do For You

• Turn your script into a fully produced audio presentation with your choice of voiceover and music (or even write the script for you)
• Create an audio presentation for Powerpoint, corporate video, or CD that you can play on a loop
• Provide it in the format of your choice depending on the application

How Does it Work?

Creative Stage One – Script Writing

If you are providing your own script for the audio presentation you may be unsure of what to include. It is best to make the script relevant to the intended event.

Consider including:
• A welcome to the specific trade show and your business e.g. “Welcome to the Biomechanics stand at Chemist Research 2008”
• A brief description of your company and the services you offer
• Details of any new products or services you are offering
• Are you launching anything at the event?
• Will you be holding any demonstrations?
• Are there any special offers specific to this event?
• Information on leaflets, samples or free promotional merchandise they can take away from your stand
• Ways they can obtain more information, such as your website address, leaving their business card, completing a contact form etc.

If you do not have the time and resources to write your own script, we have professional scriptwriters available who can write one for you. In order for us to do this we will require the following information:

• Your company name (including the pronunciation)
• Your website address
• Details of the event you are attending (unless you simply want a generic presentation)
• A list of literature and samples available at your stand
• A summary of what your company does, including products and services, and any industry recognitions and/or accreditations
• A pdf of your essential literature/leaflets/brochures or any display graphics you are using in your exhibit

Try to send only relevant information. If you want a basic presentation it may be enough just to give us your website (provided the content there is well-written and informative).

Once the first draft of the script has been written we will provide you with a copy. You can make any additions or changes you require to the script and return it to us. We will also ask you to provide pronunciations for any difficult names and terminology. Telephone numbers are best written in words rather than numbers, especially if you have a preference to the way it is said. For example, 555658 can be “five, five, five, six, five, eight” or “fifty-five, fifty-six, fifty-eight” etc.

The amended copy of your script will then be passed onto the production team for recording.

Creative Stage Two: Production

There are several steps to the audio production stage:

• Voiceover Recording: We have a selection of voiceovers for you to choose from, all of whom are industry professionals. We can suggest a particular voice depending on your business and the style of your production but ultimately you will make the final decision. Once a voice has been agreed upon, a session will be booked with the voiceover to record your script.
• Music Sourcing: We also have a selection of pre-cleared music tracks with an included usage licence for you to choose from. Again, we can recommend music based upon the particular script/business but the final choice is yours.
• Digital Audio Production, Mixing and Post: Using our state-of-the-art production suite we will blend the voice and music elements together to create your final audio presentation
• Delivery: Your audio will be delivered to you on CD (or by mp3, if preferred).

If you have an imminent deadline, please contact us to discuss your needs and check studio availability – we will be more than happy to help and advise.
