Perhaps the worst kind of laziness is when you cut corners at work. Take social media for example. That’s just for teenagers to post pics of their tattoos and for attention seekers to post gems such as, “OMG cant bleeve wot just happened my life is so crap”, in the hope someone will ask, “What’s up, hun?” Well, yes it is partially for that. However, social media is also crucial for any and every business today. That includes yours.
In a blog, Ash Mashadi asks if businesses are doing enough on social media. Is it essential to have a presence on the likes of Twitter and Facebook? If so; how should social media be handled once your business starts Tweeting and updating? It all sounds like child’s play – or teen’s play – but get it wrong and it could be catastrophic. Get it right and the rewards could be … well … better than finding your TV remote when you thought you’d lost it. Yes, as good as that.
